This is one of our favorite patterns. Designed for batiks, it works just as well for other contemporary fabrics. No matter what kind of fabric you choose, this pattern produces a WOW quilt. This is a perfect project for a beginner with basic quilting skills: rotary cutting and stable 1/4" seams.

This clinic is intended as a studio for teen fashion designers who plan to participate in our fall runway show but is open to anyone who wants to explore fashion design or couture sewing. An instructor will be available to provide guidance on pattern alteration, garment fitting and sewing techniques. Demonstrations will occasionally be offered in couture sewing methods: how to choose the proper seam closure, install a zipper, add a hem, etc. Dress forms are available for use during clinic hours.
