CLASS POLICIES
REGISTRATION: Payment is due at time of registration. Space is often limited. We encourage you to register early. CANCELLATION: If Quilter's Way cancels a class for lack of registration, you will receive a full refund of your class fee. You may cancel your registration up to 2 weeks prior to the class and receive a store credit. This policy gives us the chance to find a replacement for your class seat. NO REFUND will be given if we receive your cancellation later than 2 weeks before the class date. PLEASE do not ask us to make an exception for you. SUPPLIES: A supply list will be provided for each class. When a pattern or book is required, we expect each student to own a copy. We respect and honor all copyright laws.

Just learning to sew or want to learn? Stymied with a technique? Have a project you want to start or finish? Want to try something new? Each student designs his or her own class in this studio. Karen is happy to help with small home decorating projects, work on basic sewing skills or give you any kind of help you need.

*Crazy Piecing Workshop with Marianne Hatton
DATE: Tuesday, Feb 5	TIME: 10:00am-1:00pm	FEE: $20
Let Marianne show you how much fun crazy piecing can be. You'll learn how to combine scraps of fabric to create a fantastic background to embellish -- and embellish you will. Learn silk ribbon embroidery stitches that will transform your creation into something really special. You'll be limited only by your time and imagination.

*Scrap Therapy Cutting Workshop with Ruth McFarland
DATE: Sunday, Feb 10	TIME: 12:00pm-2:00pm	FEE: $15
This workshop, for Scrap Therapy members only, is an opportunity to whip your scraps into a few standard sizes so that making Scrap Therapy quilts is a real snap!

DATE: Sunday, Feb 10	TIME: 2:00pm-5:00pm	FEE: $25
This class, for Scrap Therapy members only, finally gets down to business. Bring your Scrap Therapy tote full of your organized scraps. You'll use up lots of small scraps in a hurry! Ruth will help you select an border stripe and accent border based on the scraps you choose to use. Tell everyone that your leftovers are now the centerpiece of your meals -- you'll want to make more than one!

*Learn to Applique with Gail Baker Rowe
DATE: Sunday, Feb 17	TIME: 12:00pm-5:00pm	FEE: $45
Are you intrigued by hand appliqué but think it’s too hard for you? This class is designed to let you try it – you might like it! You’ll start with a very simple appliqué block pattern that illustrates basic hand appliqué techniques. You’ll learn to make bias stems, sharp points, round curves and circles. At the end of the class, you can either use your block to make a pillow or tote or you can make more blocks for a wall-hanging or quilt.

Wait until you see what you can do with cording and fabric strips! Let Karen help you get started with a fun new technique for making bowls, bags and boxes. The book "It's A Wrap" is required.
