oil paint that has been molded into crayons - Shiva Paintstiks.
Whether you already own some and don't know what to do with
them or are just curious, this class is for you! You'll learn
to use rubbing plates, stencils, and stamps to create backgrounds or stenciled images
that can be enhanced with thread, markers or more paintstiks.
You'll explore other materials that can be used to create images
with paintstiks and ways to use the fabric that you create -- even clothing.

Are you intrigued by hand appliqué but think it’s too hard for you? This class is designed to let you try it – you might like it! You’ll start with a very simple appliqué block pattern that illustrates basic hand appliqué techniques. You’ll learn to make bias stems, sharp points, round curves and circles. At the end of the class, you can either use your block to make a pillow or tote or you can make more blocks for a wall-hanging or quilt.
