CLASS POLICIES

REGISTRATION:
Payment is due at time of registration. Space is often limited. We encourage you to register early.
CANCELLATION:
Refunds will be given ONLY if we receive your cancellation 2 weeks before the class date or if Quilter's Way cancels the class.
SUPPLIES:
A supply list will be provided for each class. When a pattern or book is required, we expect each student to own a copy. We respect and honor all copyright laws.

*Turning Leaves Quilt with Diane Heerema
DATE: Saturday, Oct 6 TIME: 1:00-4:00pm FEE: $25

Choose the bold, bright colors of October or the subdued hues of November for your leaves and make it your own. The construction is easy with fusible webbing and machine appliqué. Karen is happy to help with small home decorating projects, work on basic sewing skills or give you any kind of help you need.

Interested in wool applique? Learn from one othe best! Donna has found a four seasonal wool scenes from Pickering Farm. These projects can be framed, made into pillows or joined to produce a four-season wall hanging. Start with the Fall scene and you'll want to do all four. This a great project to learn on because it's small and can be finished with embellishment or without.

Learn how to quilt your quilt! The instructor will give a small trunk show, talk about batting, needles, threads and anything else you need to know to successfully begin quilting those tops. You’ll make a small sampler using various quilt designs. Your biggest accomplishment will be a better understanding of your sewing machine. Book required.
*Learn to Quilt by Hand with Gail Rowe
DATE: Thursday, Oct 25 and Nov 8 TIME: 10:00am-1:00pm FEE: $50 + kit fee
Are you intrigued by the idea of quilting by hand? We've designed a this class with your success in mind. In the first class, you'll get right to it, practicing the quilting stitch on a pre-marked quilt square. The second class will deal with all the details: thread, needles, marking the quilt and let you practice a variety of quilting motifs on a small sampler you've made yourself.

*Pumpkin Butter Wallhanging with Ruth McFarland
DATE: Tuesday, Oct 30 TIME: 6:00am-9:00pm FEE: $25
Join Ruth in celebrating her favorite time of year. This wool and cotton wallhanging with a fall theme is fun to make and display at this time of year. Spend a little time at your machine and then you have a nice portable handwork project. Or you use your machine to put a quick finish on the appliqued shapes. Either way, this enjoyable project is the perfect way to bring the pumpkin patch inside!
